Junior Software Engineer
Monzo is building the bank of the future and engineering is at the heart of everything. As a junior engineer you will work across backend services in Go, contributing to features used by millions of customers and helping shape how Monzo builds software.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain backend microservices in Go
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Work closely with product squads on feature delivery

Degree in Computer Science or related fieldUnderstanding of backend development conceptsComfort with version control (Git)Curiosity and eagerness to learn
