Generalist Fast Stream
The Civil Service Fast Stream is the UK government's flagship graduate leadership programme. Generalist Fast Streamers move across departments every 12-18 months, working in policy, strategy and programme delivery roles at the heart of government.
What you'll be doing
- Develop policy proposals and briefings for ministers
- Lead cross-departmental working groups and projects
- Represent your department in meetings with external stakeholders
- Manage teams and budgets in operational roles
- Contribute to national strategy and legislation development

Required
2:1 degree in any disciplineBritish citizenship or ILRStrong analytical and written communicationLeadership potential and resilience

Previous policy or government internshipUnderstanding of the UK policy landscapeStrong numeracy
